FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Every project is different. These answers explain the usual scope and the details that need to be agreed individually.

01

Starting a project

How does sourcing from China work?

It usually starts with a product brief, followed by research into potential manufacturers and a comparison of available quotations. Samples, production follow-up, inspections and shipment coordination may be added if they fit the project.

How do I start a sourcing project?

Share the product description, specifications, estimated quantity, destination country, intended use and any known requirements. We can then discuss whether the project is suitable for research and agree the next step.

Can you consider a small order?

Possibly. It depends on the product, supplier, minimum order quantity and the amount of research and coordination required. Provide your target quantity so the request can be assessed.

02

Suppliers, samples and production

How do you verify a supplier?

Research may include reviewing available company information, asking questions and comparing stated capabilities. The checks and their limitations are agreed for each project. They are not a guarantee of a supplier's future performance, product quality or regulatory compliance.

Can you coordinate product samples?

Yes, sample requests can be coordinated when included in the project scope. Availability, cost, shipping and timing depend on the supplier and the sample requested.

How long does production take?

Production timing varies by product, supplier, order quantity, specifications and current workload. The supplier must confirm the estimate for each order; CAPOGATE does not guarantee a fixed lead time.

03

Shipping and markets

Who is responsible for shipping and customs?

CAPOGATE can coordinate with a freight-forwarder when agreed. Transport, customs clearance, taxes and related services are handled by the responsible logistics providers, customs brokers and authorities. Responsibilities and costs should be confirmed before shipment.

Which countries do you serve?

The initial focus is Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and the wider Balkan region. Other European projects can be discussed based on the requirements.
